Software Test: Panda Cloud Antivirus

In deep water

After an adventurous installation, Panda Cloud Antivirus can finally work. Our first impressions are that the user interface will be tasteful, presumably easy to use, although it looks a bit crowded - we’d make it a little more airy.

Interestingly, the “B” system also has a lockable banner, while the “A” system is completely missing. In any case, there are no traces of certain unsolicited advertisements, only the firewall function shows that this is not a full-fledged version - it was later revealed that USB protection is also limited, but autorun protection is at least active.

We were looking for an antivirus that would make woods a sophisticated, space-based tool, and it looks like we were successful. We also tested the GUI with an amateur user who has so far seen pretty much only Microsoft Security Essentials, after a few sentence instructions, there were no problems.

In our personal opinion, only the button in the lower right corner is something that designers might want to work on a bit more, because it’s not clear to even more experienced users that it triggers the modules shown below.

This is definitely a beauty spot, as it seems to have important settings here. We’ve talked about the privacy shield before, but the recovery boot is worth a mass again.
