Inspiron Zino: Tiny nettop machine from Dell too

A weaker (Atomos) and a stronger (Athlonos) version arrive.

As early as August, news surfaced that Dell was starting construction on nettop machines, and now more details have been revealed about the Inspiron Zeno family. The tiny and lightweight desktop will come in two versions with 300 and 400 designations. The 300 will be the cheaper version, incorporating an Atomos system with 1GB of memory, integrated Intel graphics, a 3,5-inch hard drive, a DVD burner and a 4-in-1 card reader.

The Inspiron 400 will include an Athlon / Athlon X2 CPU combined with up to 8GB of system memory, with a discrete ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 responsible for graphics tasks, with an optional Blu-Ray s optical drive in addition to DVD. The outputs are gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, D-Sub and HDMI headed with two eSATA ports.

The exact release date and purchase prices are not yet known for the Inspiron 300 and 400, with a likely arrival expected to be October 22nd.
