Two new nettops on offer from MSI

One of the new features is the playback of HD content.

The appearance and knowledge base of the two new devices are largely the same, but a significant difference is that the more powerful Wind Box DE200 device also manages the playback of high-definition content. Of course, this is only possible if the manufacturer integrates a separate GPU in addition to the Intel Atom N230 processor, but MSI has not yet stated its type. With a dedicated graphics core and HDMI output, the Wind Box DE200 can even play the role of an HTPC.

The Wind Box DC200 variant can hit store shelves with much more modest graphics performance (as well as a corresponding price tag): the device uses — not surprisingly — the well-known Intel GMA 950 graphics core for display, which, if not for playing HD content, It definitely guarantees sufficient performance for running 2D applications. Apart from this important modification, however, the parameters of the machine are the same as those of its bigger brother, so under the machine housing, in addition to the Atom central unit, there is 1 GB of system memory, a Wi-Fi radio compatible with the "n" standard, a 160 GB hard disk, and a gigabit network we can also find a controller.

MSI has not yet commented on the expected purchase price of the machines.
