Parade of Chieftek houses in the heat
We start with the cheaper cottages, also with the solution that came in the smaller box. We anticipate that the description of the houses will not be planned for too long. This is because we don’t want to multiply the word unnecessarily, and on the other hand, the pictures say a lot more. We describe the point and form an opinion on the last page.
The first piece on our table is the solution called BD-02B. The interesting thing about this is that it accepts a Micro ATX format motherboard. This fact already reveals somewhat about the external dimensions as well. It measures just 180 x 355 x 376 millimeters.
On the front panel we see the possibility of installing two 5,25 inches and two 3,5 inches devices. In addition to the power and reset buttons, we only find the standard indicator lights, it is enough to use one hand to count the terminals, as there are only two USB ports next to the headphone I / O and microphone inputs.
Due to its small size and large heat, we also have an important word to say about cooling. The manufacturer does not provide an installed fan, we have to take care of that. An air thrower can be screwed onto the front, back and side panels, ie eight-centimeter specimens.
The front of the house represents a completely restrained design anyway. It provides a more serious look due to the thick vertical ribbing. The polish of the house is even, but not a piano lacquer quality. True, there can be little demand for this in this class either, as we can imagine this house mostly in a corporate environment, as a cover for client machines.
