Here are the first pictures of the GeForce GTS 450 PCB
A schematic image of NVIDIA's first 40nm GF106 GPU card has come to light. Although there are no regular photos of the product yet, it is worth studying the PCB in the meantime.
As we can see, GF106 is a regular, square-shaped core, while GF104 is rectangular, suggesting hard modifications. The power supply circuit of the GTS 450 is 3 + 1 phase, a single 6-pin PCI Express power connector is enough to keep the card alive, which is good news. The card also has an SLI connector, six memory chips, two DVI and a mini HDMI output.
The specification for the GeForce GTX 450 is not yet known, only rumors they are spreading on the internet, but it is almost certain that, like the Radeon HD 5770, it will be blessed with a 128-bit interface. However, don't worry, there's not much left, NVIDIA won't be able to keep secret for long.
