LG will unveil a huge diagonal 3D Ultra Definition display at CES

The slim and sleek LG 3D UD TV delivers 8 million pixels of outstanding picture quality (3840 × 2160), which is four times the resolution of current Full HD TVs. Users can customize 3D effects, adjust the depth of the 3D image (Depth Control), and enjoy 3D Sound Zooming for an audio experience that only home theater systems can.

The high-end display panel also gives users access to LG Smart TV features (currently more than 1200 applications are available). With built-in 2D to 3D conversion technology, an unlimited amount of 3D content can be produced. Viewers can easily search and navigate Smart TV content with LG's new ergonomically designed Magic Motion motion remote control, which transmits instructions in four ways:

  • with voice recognition
  • by scrolling
  • with motion detection
  • pointing out

The new voice recognition mode also allows users to enter text with voice commands (such as search terms). The scroll wheel allows you to easily scroll down or up between menu items and applications, making it easier for you to select what you want. Gesture recognition means you can control the device with either hand or arm gestures. And with the point function, users can use the cursor to quickly and easily select the desired icon on the screen without having to scroll or press the directional buttons again.

In addition to the four control functions above, the novelty of the Magic Motion remote control is the 3D button, which, when pressed, instantly converts traditional 2D content to 3D.
