3D image loading an entire wall

LG Electronics ’latest CINEMA 3D projector (CF3DAA) works with increased brightness and can project high-resolution 3D content on up to a huge 200-inch surface. The device with 2D to 3D conversion is expected to be available in Hungary in the first half of 2012.

Full HD images cannot be projected on a large 200-inch surface with most projectors. LG’s latest CINEMA 3D projector can project 3 ANSI lumens of brightness in 1250D mode, which is about six times that of other premium projectors. 

“The CF3DAA is the latest member of LG’s CINEMA 3D product family; a real power plant. ” Said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Home Entertainment Company. "The device performs well in the living room or even in a lecture hall, as its power is enough to project a five-meter, cinema-quality image."

The CF3DAA uses a unique FPR technology already known from previous CINEMA 3D products, the biggest advantage of which is the polarized 3D glasses. These glasses are orders of magnitude cheaper and much lighter than their active closure counterparts. Polarized 3D glasses do not strain the eyes at all, so larger audiences can watch 3D content economically and for long periods of time. Thanks to the above features, the CF3DAA is not only an ideal accessory for the living room, but is also excellent for use in museums, lecture halls and other public places.

The CF3DAA Cinema 3D projector will be available in European markets from the first half of 2012, while the model for the non-European market (CF3DAT) was recently introduced in Korea.
