ASUS G73Jh - portable fusion power plant with DirectX 11

We walked around the outside of the machine, seeing the notebook open. Fortunately, the solid style has been retained on the interior surfaces, as has the F-117 line. The areas around the keyboard are not over-scorched, with a quiet ROG logo above the lower right corner to indicate.

In the upper right corner you will find the power button, while on the other side there are three function keys: backlight, power profile, sleep mode. The size of the machine almost requires the presence of a numeric keypad, fortunately it does, which greatly simplifies typing. The shape of the buttons follows the current ASUS directive, single-plane, space-stitched keys with a white backlight that not only looks good in low light conditions, but is also useful. The full keyboard is 348 mm wide and can be conveniently used in both size and layout. Sometimes it is a little more prone to a slower reaction time, but this is still well outside the confounding limit.

The size of the touch pad is not small either, there will definitely be room to move our fingers, you can scroll on the right edge by moving it vertically. The sensitivity of the touchpad to adjust to the spirit of the notebook is a bit hard, the firm male hand is the genre, the caress is not really fond of. The “mouse button” on the right and left is made of one element, its efficiency is not bad, but it did not necessarily win our liking.

What I really liked, however, is the surface of the machine. They finally neglected the shiny, glossy surfaces that swarmed with fingerprints after 1 minute and used a simple, matte material that tolerates dirt extremely well, doesn’t slip, doesn’t glide. In addition, a special rubber cover has been added to the bar under the keyboard, which also lends a secure position to our wrists, in addition to being comfortable.

The display frame isn’t overly complicated in design either, with a nice little solid ASUS logo in the middle, a few rubber mounts, and a 2-megapixel webcam hidden behind a triangular cover on top. The speakers are placed in the band above the keyboard in the usual way, which comply with the EAX Advanced HD 4.0 standard and are capable of sounding 2.1, ie in addition to the two side speakers, a small subwoofer also puffs.

So much for the inside and outside of the machine, judging design and shape is always a subjective thing, we liked the square shapes combined with simplicity and quality. Hereinafter, we will discuss the hardware architecture and additional features of the ASUS G73Jh.
