ASUS G73Jh - portable fusion power plant with DirectX 11
We can already state that the ASUS G73Jh is not a small machine, in fact, with its 17,3-inch display, it can be said to be a desktop notebook rather than a permanent resident of our bag, but this is usually the case with high-end machines.
The already mentioned 17,3-inch panel is a FULL HD resolution, glossy surface LCD, not particularly criticized. However, even before we open up the machine, we are already beginning to get an idea of what inspired the creation of this model, as far as the exterior is concerned. Well, if the name of the thing doesn’t come to mind after all, we’re now revealing that this is indeed the F-117 Nighthawk, the stealth plane of the U.S. Army.
If we observe the lines of the ASUS G73Jh, it is indeed characterized by as aggressive, angular lines and edges as the stealth, and is dominated by a grayish-black hue similar to the color of the aircraft. The sleek joke is the two openings on the back of the notebook, which in this case are not air inlet but air outlet, where hot air can easily leave the engine compartment.
If we are already here, let's finish this page, because the Kensington lock and the connector of the external antenna were also placed here. The cover of the machine is extremely simple, we can't find anything other than the ASUS label and the Republic of Gamers family logo. We have to say, we liked this simplicity, it is not legal that a high-end gaming machine should be very naughty. The G73Jh is a sympathetic construction, as it is formally unique, but solid and clean in terms of surfaces, yet it radiates strength.
If we look at the machine from both sides, the angular bends and streamlined surfaces are immediately noticeable again. The sides of the machine are not overcrowded, as the 42,0 × 31,0 × 1,89 ~ 5,68 cm (W × D × Ma) housing provides enough space for the connectors. On the right you will find a card reader, two USBs, an HDMI and a D-sub along with the charger connector, on the left you will find a LAN port, a USB, a DVD burner, another USB and microphone and headphone jack.
At the beginning of the noti, we barely got anything, we can find only the roughly centered information LEDs, four in number, consisting of the current operating status, battery, storage load and WiFi indicator. It is astonishing that even the bottom of the machine got from the square lines, we find ventilation grilles in areas that are more critical for heat production, and anti-slip rubber soles were placed on the four corners and batteries. The battery is relatively small compared to the engine room, with eight cells and a capacity of 5200 mAh.
