ASUS Eee PC 1004DN - luxury in a small way

A year and a half ago, the chain reaction to the ASUS Eee PC, which has been going crazy and then slowly slowing down, started its journey. The small machine has defined a new category, from now on we can talk about netbooks. These mini PCs are most impressive for their size and light weight - and these two features are enough for excellent portability.

The first series were rushed by customers, in fact, the strange situation arose that the manufacturer simply could not deliver as many copies to certain regions as impatient users would have demanded. Yet the first models only had a 7 ″ display, and their central unit wasn't too beatable (Celeron).

The beginnings…

Of course, the $ 200-250 price remained a dream, we had to expect double those numbers on the price tag. Then came the generational change in the form of specimens with 8,9 ány TFT, and of course let’s not go without saying that more and more competing brands came out with their own solution. ASUS had to step in and chose a well-proven tactic: to cram even more into the small machine. In the spirit of this policy, 10 ″ Eee PCs have emerged, which are currently considered the top of the category.
