My pair had skinned quite a long time ago to buy him some mop that could really mop it, not like the MOP of robotic vacuum cleaners. I looked out for several types, including steam cleaners, stationary vacuum cleaners, and a mixture of these.
Since this year's stationary vacuum cleaner field is also Xiaomira, quite precisely the Xiaomi Jimmy H8 ProWe switched to, and it worked out very well, I gave myself a chance to look around the mops of the company as well. That’s how the choice fell on the Jimmy HW8 Pro, which is a whole new piece in the manufacturer’s offering.
I bought it, the courier brought it, I handed it to my couple, but the euphoria fell short. He was poor in the box for days, I had to unpack, put it together, set it up on his feet.
Later, the situation changed, so much so that my life partner told him that he wanted to write this article. The promise was followed, so the chapter on experience and use will not be my work, you will know first hand what it is like to use the Jimmy HW8 Pro mop.
Packaging and accessories
Not surprisingly, the packaging is quality, not crappy tear-off cardboard. We are talking about a Xiaomi product, that is, the thing itself. We can't find a crazy amount of accessories inside.
In addition to the essentials such as the machine, the base, the tanks, the battery and the charger, only a spare rotary brush (i.e. in this case more of a MOP), its stand-mounted holder and a bottle of detergent are provided.

I don’t want to write much about quality, as it’s a pretty expensive machine (at least among Chinese products), plus Xiaomi, which means the plastics and assembly are impeccable. This also applies to the cover of the base machine and the tanks, as well as everything else.
At first glance, the Jimmy HW8 Pro is not really different from a stationary vacuum cleaner. What are strikingly non-vacuum cleaners are the water tanks we don’t find on a plain vacuum cleaner. However, there are two here. A small back and a much larger front.
The shape as I wrote above is a typical stationary vacuum cleaner and it is no accident, but I will write about the cause in the next chapter.
At the bottom is the usual motorized brush - that is, it is still more of a MOP - but above it the layout is a bit overcast. In the case of vacuum cleaners, a longer extension pipe comes in, then the part containing the motor and the dust container.
However, in the case of the WP8, the motor part is at the bottom, above it an extension pipe, which in turn has no role in suction, it only holds the machine. The reason for the replacement is simple. The Jimmy HW8 Pro has water tanks, which greatly increase the weight of the machine. If it were over, we would have to keep the machine out of muscle, the water and everything, it would be pretty tiring.
Compared to expensive stationary vacuum cleaners, control is also simple. The display is placed above the front water tank, making it much larger than the usual OLED panels for vacuum cleaners. There are three buttons above, two at the top of the handle and one at the bottom.
I haven’t talked about the sole yet, which held a pleasant surprise.
There is only one thing I can hook up with about our Jimmy H8 Pro vacuum cleaner, during use it turned out that it would not have hurt to be able to charge it through the holder base.
It's a bit cumbersome to plug in the cable. True, they also added an external battery charger to the vacuum cleaner, so if I take the battery out of it and put it in the charger I can charge it there too, but it’s no simpler solution than plugging a string into the ass of the machine.
In the case of the Jimmy HW8 Pro, this is no longer a problem, as the sole not only holds but also charges the machine. That is, there is no cable plugging, I just set the machine to its feet after use and charging starts.
Knowledge, skills
Let’s start with the dry data, then let’s dive into the use a bit too!
The machine is a 3 in XNUMX machine, which means it vacuums (even without water), sweeps the floor with a MOP and of course mops it with water.
According to factory data, the suction force is 15 Pa, which rivals the ability of a strong mid-range stationary vacuum cleaner. The battery in the machine has a capacity of 000 mAh, which, according to the paper format, allows 3000 minutes of operation in normal mode and 35 minutes when saving at maximum performance. What this time will be enough for in practice will be revealed from the experience report of my life partner, the experience chapter.
I wrote that there are two water tanks on the machine. It follows that you choose clean and dirty water separately during operation. Detergent clear water is in the rear 0,45 liter tank, while dirt collects in front of it in a 0,35 liter tank.
Of course, we don’t find a dust bag or the like in this larger tank, but it does have a float in it that prevents water from getting into the engine. If you do not empty the tank in time or use the wrong foaming detergent, this protection comes in handy.
As I indicated, the display is not on the handle but on the front panel, above the dirty water tank. There is quite a lot of data available on this. We see the battery charge (animated while charging), we see the cleaning mode, both when the fresh water tank is empty and also when the dirty water tank is full.
The latter is not only displayed by the mop, but also stops the engine in addition to a loud beep to prevent water from entering the turbine or engine. In addition, there is another error signal, for example in the event that the MOP is jammed in the motor head.
Control is by three buttons on the handle. One is the on / off switch, the other is the mode switch, these are on top. At the bottom of the handle is a trigger for spraying water.
So the operation is simple. Place the empty container forwards and the detergent backwards. If the battery is not already inside, place it under the cover above the fresh water tank. We turn on the machine, add the water to the floor with the trigger, and push it in the apartment, on the floor where we want to wash it.
I thought water use was essentially a continuous squirt during use, but it turned out to be nowhere near that. Water can be sprayed on particularly soiled parts, dried out stains, but basically the more important thing is to keep the MOP moist during cleaning.
Well, then the obligatory circles and information were held so far, and from here I give the floor to the woman of the house, that is, to the person who uses the machine, for a chapter. I think you will get useful information from him, but he promised that if there were any further questions, he would be happy to answer them as well.

Experience first hand
I once said that the Dilbea T6 stationary vacuum cleaner became my friend, well he has been my mom’s friend ever since and we renewed a Xiaomi Jimmy H8 Prowith whom he / she became even closer friends. Well, if they became friends, the Jimmy HW8 Pro mopping machine is straight to my new love (sorry, darling…).
Our story began with us moving into a bigger house, the kids turned 3,5, with sand, mud, unidentifiable dirt, etc. brought in from the yard. the amount of it has also become empowered, let's not talk about the smeared, smeared stuff, so in addition to the new vacuum cleaner with sip-soup, I also started to yearn to make mopping easier.
I’ve been tinkering with different steam cleaners, but even though our laminate flooring is aquastopos, I still didn’t dare admit it, not to mention that all of these are really effective all wired.
And then he arrived, the Jimmy HW8 Pro mop. I confess when my man put it in front of me that here is the subject of another wish, I walked around with raised eyebrows, I didn’t vote for him with much confidence, I didn’t really touch him for days, I didn’t feel the throbbing that I wanted to try it right now. But my man just skinned to give it a try.
So I set myself up for the commissioning, I looked at the ca. half a liter of water tank, that now I will change the water every minute and just smear the dirt even better, or what will it be enough for? I filled the tank and after a more thorough vacuuming I started mopping.
The result was staggering, in my dream I would not have thought this machine was so efficient!
The Jimmy HW8 Pro mop looks like cordless vacuum cleaners on the outside, with the difference that it has a water tank at the front and a water tank with detergent or mop detergent at the back. And the mop head itself is also very similar to a vacuum cleaner.
The water is delivered to the floor manually, by pressing a small key under the handle, but pumped by a motor pump (“water gun”), so we also control the amount. As if we were just vacuuming, we push the machine nicely, which sucks back most of the splashed water that lands in the front tank anyway.
An approx. I did my first try in a 15 m2 kitchen-dining area and, as I mentioned, I stood for it after a thorough vacuuming. Although I thought I was pushing plenty of water out, it didn't want to run out of the tank. I used up about 300ml of water in the end.
But what I put down the state was the sight of the catchment tank: roughly 2 deci of concentrated sludge! And it also shed light on the greatness of the mop: I use much less water than in a normal mop, as 5-10 l of water goes into a mop bucket, while with this machine, the whole house consumes 80 liter of water on a roughly 2 m1 floor !
Clean and dirty water does not mix, which also increases efficiency, the stuck mud, sand that the vacuum cleaner may not have been able to pick up dry, is dissolved by the water and sucked up by the machine, not only lubricating the dirt any further. It dries quickly, as you have already drained little water, some of which is even returned to the mop's dirty water collection tank.
That is why it can be used boldly on wooden floors and laminate floors, and it also serves well in high humidity, when the wet floor dries very slowly and with difficulty after the traditional washing. His axiom is also very well tolerated, 10-15% even stays in general after I wash the whole house.
In a word, like a hundred, I was very convinced by the Jimmy HW8 Pro mop, so much so that since I tried it as a TV shop agent, I’ve been advertising and flooding it with family and friends.
I would like to share a practical piece of advice with you. The instructions for use also draw attention to the fact that we always empty and wash the collecting tank and clean the associated filter, and I encourage everyone who buys such a mop to do so, as dirty water in a small, closed collector can stink very quickly. .
This is not to be overlooked if you are just cleaning up after a glass of spilled soft drink or just washing up a few muddy footprints. It’s really a very simple and not time consuming stunt, but it saves us from unpleasant odors.
The manufacturer also comes with a bottle of cleaning fluid, which must be diluted in half with water, the smell of which is quite pleasant, essentially barely perceptible. On the other hand, I think it dries a bit stained on the laminate floor, even though I washed it in the direction of the fibers, but it is not spotless, although it is not so dangerous.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use any cleaning agent, very foaming agents should be avoided (and already most traditional cleaners are not a little foaming) because the foam can get into the engine and damage it. So I started looking for the perfect solution that would keep the laminate floor silky as well.
A relatively expensive brand specializing in floor cleaning was my choice of cleaner for my own mop. The manufacturer recommends using it without dilution, but unfortunately due to the foaming it had to be watered, probably because of this the final result was not articulated, if I consider the price-value ratio, then it is not.
I would have been most happy if I could have used my old, well-proven cleaning and care product in some way.
Since my traditional mop cleaner (Alex beeswax floor cleaner) doesn’t foam extremely, I thought I’d try to adjust the amount proportionally to the Jimmy HW8 Pro mop. So I got up to make a trip in the deepest pots of my gray stock.
Beyond the path of dirty fantasies, long after the nooks and crannies of psychopathic thoughts, I mined my heavily worn-out knowledge of elementary school chemistry from the darkest little hole and gave my head for concentration and weight percentage calculations. But he understood because it worked! Not only was the floor clean but bright, and my wonder mop didn’t cut home either!
Cordless vacuum cleaners, although they have become part of our daily lives, do not trigger the classic “big” vacuuming, and every week, every two weeks, every month, as it turns out, I also use my old, well-proven vacuum cleaner. However, I’m not sure the HW8 Pro won’t crowd out normal mopping from our lives.
I’m still testing it, but I haven’t felt the need to take out the exiled bucket and mop wood again in the laundry room yet, I can’t even imagine a reason why I should use them again.
I highly recommend the Jimmy HW8 Pro mop to families with small children and pets. In these stormy times, combined with a small amount of disinfectant (although I have not yet tested the proportions and the right agent) can be very useful, even in smaller or larger offices and service rooms.
Conclusion
It didn’t become a standard article, as I didn’t write it alone, but I feel it benefited the little weirdness. But I would add something to the experience.
Our sons, as you may have read, are 3,5 years old. Unfortunately, it happens SOMETIMES that you accidentally spill a glass of water during lunch or dinner. So far, the procession has been as follows.
If the mop with a handle was at hand, we wiped the water with it. If it wasn’t at hand, paper towel tips and kitchen towels were the solution. I guess you’ve figured it out since the constantly charged MOP stands out I get it and the 2-3 deci of water in the puddle on the floor does it in the tank of the machine in about 10 seconds.
The conclusion is therefore as follows:
If my partner doesn’t whine that he needs some mop, I won’t buy it in a stinky life, I felt so superfluous. Then he came and I wondered why I had to spend a fortune on it if we didn’t even use it. I turned my head seriously to put it to goodness…
Then everything changed. One day, after work, I went up to the apartment and my partner bet he finally tried the machine and fell in love with it. It didn’t mean much good to me, but so much so that I got a big kiss in exchange for buying it. And, of course, that I didn't have to write part of this article.
Ever since my life partner, my partner, started using the HW8 Pro in their troubles, there has been almost no day that it wouldn’t come out of his residence, the closet. The machine that was thought to be redundant became the most commonly used, which I think was the biggest surprise to me!
