We’ve been looking around the middle class for quite some time, it’s time to make up for the shortfall. If only because, as you will see, very good mobiles have been on the market recently. The current selection includes products from three companies, five in number. These phones all come with an eight-core processor, an adequate amount of memory and mass storage, and their cameras can really be used.

It is important that all mobiles in this article support the B20 800 MHz LTE frequency used in Hungary, so there will be no problem with the mobile network. CUBOTA X19

We also tried the predecessor, the X18, and our opinions were mixed, because although the phone was still adequate, it left something to be desired in terms of the camera.

The Cubot X19 is a new development, the central unit of which is the strong, lower-middle-class MediaTek brand, the Helio P23. It has eight cores and a performance-focused cluster capable of operating at clocks above 2 GHz. There is 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of storage, so there will be no problem with this hardware.

However, apart from the price of this phone, it is not its real curiosity, but its camera. The predecessor bug was fixed by the manufacturer, and based on the test images, the new solution has finally become really usable. No problem with other capabilities, lots of sensors, modern radios, 4000 mAh battery, so everything is in place.

Which is why it is especially worth addressing that the introductory campaign is taking place this week, in which we can buy it for $ 170 (HUF 120) instead of $ 34. Extremely friendly price for a very friendly hardware.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite

We got not one, but two right away from the Xiaomi phone in the Xiaomi second series factory Android. The Mi A2 was a completely new development, while the Mi A2 Lite is a creased version of the older A1. Nevertheless, this mobile has not become bad at all, in fact.

We have two huge advantages over the larger version, one is that it is cheaper, of course, and the other is that in the case of the Xiaomi Mi A2 the battery is slightly undersized compared to the phone's power consumption, so it needs to be charged within a day with intensive use.

Wrinkle sewing here, wrinkle sewing there, the Lite version did not get bad. The second-generation Snapdragon 625 core still stands today, providing a competitive alternative to MediaTek inserts. The cameras are of good quality, we don't lack sensors and other capabilities either, so all in all, this phone can be a good choice for those who prefer the “factory” Android system, but also don’t want to miss out on Xiaomi quality.

Lenovo K5 Pro

In our opinion, this phone is the best value for money mobile on our list today. Lenovo is a popular brand in Hungary, it also served its good reputation. They offer strong hardware at an affordable price, which has become especially remarkable with this mobile.

The central unit of the Lenovo K5 Pro is modern, fast and manufactured by Qualcomm. Exactly, we can welcome a Snapdragon 636 that boasts eight cores and a 1,8 GHz clock. The 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM in the phone are already average in this price range, as is the display, which is an FHD +, i.e. 2160 x 1080 pixel solution based on IPS technology. What highlights from the field - in addition to its price - is that it boasts four cameras. There are two image recorders on the front and back, 16 + 5 megapixel combos on both sides. More importantly, the battery has an above-average 4050 mAh capacity.

The price of the phone for HUF is the same as the previous Xiaomi, ie $ 169,99 (HUF 48) is charged for it. This is especially surprising in light of the fact that it also gives you more in terms of CPU, battery, amount of memory and cameras, so it’s a really good reception!

Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 6

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is one of the best price-performance phones currently on offer from the manufacturer.

This device has been my favorite for a long time. I still like it now, but in the meantime, the competition has also intensified. A good example of this is the previous Lenovo device, which is almost identical to this Xiaomi in terms of hardware.

The central unit of the phone here is the Snapdragon 636, so the devices do not differ in basic functions. Plus, we’ll find four cameras here too - it was Xiaomi’s first four-camera cell phone - but in a different layout. The resolution of the sensors on the back panel is a bit weaker (12 + 5 megapixels, and on the front panel it is better (20 + 2 megapixels)). The Pro's display has a FHD + resolution and an aspect ratio of 6: 19, from which experts know right away that we are talking about a modern display with a notch, ie a protruding camera island. plus points compared to traditional Android, but right, as they say, tastes and slaps are different, maybe for someone this point will be the downside.

The price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, despite the almost identical hardware, is higher than that of the previous Lenovo, but if someone swears by the Xiaomira, they won’t find the difference so much that they don’t choose it. They are currently asking $ 199,99 for it (HUF 57), leaving them in the affordable category.

Lenovo S5 Pro

The last phone on the list is another Lenovo Phone, which already looks like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro to fight for the graces of customers.

Interestingly, this mobile, although the same in terms of CPU as the previous Lenovo, is still more expensive, and for its own reason, and only one of them has a more modern look. So the central chip here is the Snapdragon 636 here too, but we get 50 percent more of the memory here, 6 GB is already waiting for us. This is not at all normal in this price category, but rather normal in the 300+ price range. The storage here is also 64 GB, which in turn, as mentioned above, is average.

We also find a significant difference in connection with the cameras, since here, in addition to the 12 + 20 megapixels on the back, we get another 8 + 20 megapixel combination on the front. This is a major improvement over the K5 Pro, a strong competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. The battery in the mobile has a capacity of 3500 mAh, which is not outstandingly good, but perhaps it can still be said to be above average. The display is already here teased with the notch (or beautified, whoever likes it), which is definitely more trendy. The aspect ratio and resolution of the panel also changed, the latter increasing to 2246 x 1080 pixels.

If we were looking for a mobile in this category, the Lenovo S5 Pro would make us think hard, it is not even certain that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro would be what we would buy. Mainly because the two phones are priced the same, so they ask for $ 199,99 ($ ​​57).

We hope you agree with us that the devices listed are really good, very worth the goods. There are several interesting things about this list. The first is the New Cubot mobile, the price of which is quite simply unbeatable. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 may be in competition with it, but not only is the price better, it is ticking off in almost every other respect. The other interesting thing is that of the two Xiaomi and the two Lenovo, maybe for the first time we’re not sure Xiaomi would get in the basket. Of course, we don't want to influence anyone in this matter, I'm sure you won't be disappointed in either!
