Buffalo makes the world’s fastest internal Blu-ray burner

The BRXL-14FBS-BK writer unveiled the other day by Buffalo Inc. roasts Blu-ray discs at 14x speed.

With BD-R DL discs, the Buffalo can hold 12x speeds, while BDXL discs burn at 6x speeds and BD-REs at 2x speeds. There are no surprises on the CD / DVD front, so the performance is as follows: 16 × DVD-R / + R, 8 × DVD-R / + R DL / + RW, 6 × DVD-RW, 5 × DVD-RAM, 48 × CD-R and 24 × CD-RW.

The BRXL-14FBS-BK also comes with DiXiM BD Burner 2011 and CyberLink software package. The latter consists of PowerDVD 10, PowerDirector 8 HE, PowerProducer 5, Power2Go 7, InstantBurn 5, PowerBackup 2 and MediaShow 5.
