The product was made by a manufacturer hitherto unknown to us.
Curtis Mathes, a company specializing in the development of home theater devices, presented its latest BR player, the CMMBX130. The newcomer is built around BroadCom's BCM-7440 CPU — like the Samsung BD-UP5000 — which guarantees 1080p24 image display and decoding of all HD audio formats. The CMMBX130 has a LAN port, but for now it's probably only for Internet firmware updates - there's no word on BD Profile 2.0 (the "B" version of BroadCom's chip also supports this standard).
The essence of the player’s knowledge has already been listed, but its most attractive feature has not been mentioned: overseas are being wasted for just $ 99, making Curtis Mathes ’new product the world’s first desktop Blu-ray player to need itself under $ 100.
