Philips SPD700: Blu-ray burner
At the Computex show in Taiwan, Philips finally unveiled its optical drive, which can also burn 50 gigabyte discs.
It can write single-layer, or 25GB, Blu-ray Discs in about 70 minutes at twice the write speed, supports double-burning discs, and can handle the rewritable BD-RE media released in September. From the information available on the Internet, we can only say that it supports all types of CDs and DVDs, but the manufacturer has not yet stated the speed of writing and reading.
The launch of the SATA-coupled Philips SPD700 in Europe will begin in August at a price of $ 1090 (approximately HUF 218), and the package will include the latest Nero 7 software.
