Gingerbread further strengthened

Google released its February statistics for the versions of Android currently in use.

Arrived in March, we sign up as usual with last month’s Android stats. We don't have to expect big changes this time either. Gingerbread further strengthened its first place, now gaining another 2,4%, while the number of users of Froyo has dropped by about the same amount. It is also worth mentioning that although Ice Cream Sandwich has been released for several months now, a significant number of users have not yet been able to get along. Probably the simple reason for this is that the device manufacturers have not yet released the official updates, so for the time being only cooked ROMs are available.
