Wi-Fi Skype phones

The four structures presented these days are completely different from traditional mobile devices in terms of operation: they do not require a GSM frequency band and they do not have a SIM card. All you have to do is use a wireless internet connection, in which case Wi-Fi phones connect to the network right away, and you can use it to call friends who also have a Skype phone or run a chat program on their computer.

The interface of Skype is essentially the same as the already well-known version of PCs, so no major innovations and changes are expected. The phones support the most common Wi-Fi protocols, such as WEP, WPA and WPA2. Their release is expected in the third quarter of this year.
