Ultra-compact and environmentally friendly projector from LG

LG Electronics unveiled its latest portable LED projector, the WXGA-resolution LG HW300Y, at the IFA exhibition in Berlin.

Thanks to its broadband data transfer function, the LG HW300Y can project Internet services and content directly onto a big screen, including online HD movies, weather information provided by AccuWeather, or the most popular social networking sites. Supporting the DLNA standard, the HW300Y provides easy wireless access to digital content stored on compatible devices (smartphone, TV, computer).

The HW300Y projector is easy to carry thanks to its compact design and weight of just 780 grams. Whether it’s a game, an office presentation, or a garden party with a filmmaker, the HW300Y projects sharp, high-quality images from a distance of 2,5m in all conditions, up to a 100-inch projection surface.

The HW300Y's LED illumination eliminates blur and color disintegration, plus increased brightness and deeper color saturation than usual. The projector is environmentally friendly in several ways: it is free of mercury and other hazardous substances in most lamps, and the HW300Y lamp does not need to be replaced within 4 years of use for 20 hours a day.

The HW300Y supports the opening and playback of high-definition video content in DivX format via a USB connection, and allows you to display their presentations and excel spreadsheets directly without converting the files. An even volume control is responsible for the uniformity of the broadcast sound, which compensates for any volume differences. With the device's Real Quick On / Off function, the projector will be fully operational within 5 seconds of turning it on.
