Philips has launched LED-backlit displays

Philips has expanded its range with three giant state-of-the-art LCDs.

The new LCDs did not miss the self-developed Ambilight technology introduced in 2004, which delivers outstandingly sharp and colorful images on Philips displays, all while saving the viewer's eyes while making the projected image more visual. The LED backlight used also improves image quality and even significantly reduces power consumption.

In the case of HDTVs, as we know, the picture quality is not everything, so Philips has tried to be outstanding in terms of technical features, so for 42, 47 and 52-inch displays, we can talk about a 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum resolution of 1080p. In terms of picture diagonal, the smallest model was equipped with surround speakers, while the other two products were equipped with only two-channel units.
