New tariff packages at Telenor, here is Hello Data
Telenor has introduced a new, unlimited mobilnet and call package with four tariffs. Each of the packages is completely unlimited in terms of internet traffic, so they only differ in the number of minutes that can be called, which in turn are measured quite narrowly.
The HUF 5990 contains 50 minutes, the HUF 9990 contains 200 minutes, for which an additional 300 minutes will cost another five thousand forints. If we also want unlimited wording, the tariff is already 19 HUF. If we exceed the talk time included in the packages, we will have to pay an additional 900 forints per minute.
At first glance, the offer is great, but it’s still worth counting on. For example, my fee is currently about 6000-6200 forints, it has 150 minutes of talk time and 300 MB of internet, which does not include Viber and Facebook. This is not a really good package for me either, because it wouldn't hurt to have a minimum of 500 MB from the net, but rather 1 GB, and it shouldn't take more than 100 minutes to talk.
If I look at the new package, let's say the cheapest one, there will be no problem with the net, but due to the conversation I will immediately have a surcharge of about 2000-2500 forints compared to my current package, so I can pay 6000-6500 forints a month, which is about 30 percent more expensive means. This means that the new packages are mostly only available to those who actually only want to use their mobile phone to surf the internet, and are most likely to chat on Viber or Facebook Messenger.
Of course, Telenor knows this too, so it tries to prevent this type of use, with the following stipulations:
“Telenor Hello Data tariff packages can only be used for individual use, in compliance with the rules of normal use. It is not considered normal use if the Subscriber does not make at least one voice call per billing period, or if the initiated voice calls or calls are diverted for a total period of more than 24 hours a day. Telenor Hello Data tariff packages cannot be used for communication between machines (eg remote monitoring). Telenor Hello Data tariff packages are prohibited from using voice and messaging services with a device that is not capable of making and receiving voice calls or does not have its own display, speaker, microphone and keypad (including a touch screen), e.g. the PBX, SMS sending equipment. "
