Yeelight is one of the leading developers of smart lights. The U.S. company joined Xiaomi’s ecosystem in 2014, and since then, new luminaires have appeared under the auspices of the Chinese manufacturer, connected to their system. Now their two new lanterns are debuting on Gearbest.

The brightness of the lamps, which consume only 28 watts, is enough to perfectly illuminate 15 square meters, but due to the restrained exterior and perfect controllability, it is not at all a problem to place more of them if we want to fully illuminate larger spaces. The great advantage of Yeelight lamps is that they provide 95 percent color rendering, making them suitable not only at home but also for work, whether it’s an office or a creative workshop.

The new lamps are easy to install. The luminaire itself consists of two pieces. The outer part should be fixed to the ceiling with a few screws and then the lower part simply snapped in. The assembly is designed to be solved, even without training, with a few screwdrivers. If we are already at the cloakroom, it is important to note that the lamps are distinguished not only by their size but also by their appearance. The smaller one, with a diameter of 320 millimeters, is conventionally designed with a cylindrical slit, where the side wall is about 7 inches high. The larger 480mm lamp has no rim, the illuminating part has edges sloping towards the ceiling.

The price of the ceiling lamp with the new Siri support is favorable in the introductory promotion, the smaller one can be bought for $ 79,99 and the larger one for $ 99,99. Moreover, now the first 100 customers will also receive a Yeelight RGB color smart light as a gift, while customers between 100 and 400 will be gifted with a wall switch.
