T. economical 2200 MHz DDR3 modules from Kingmax
Kingmax's name is mostly used for RAMs, memory cards and flash drives, the company does not take part in other areas, but it is very serious in these three segments, which obviously shows its considerable experience in memory production over the years.
At home, Kingmax is perhaps best loved for its low-cost modules, and now we can provide them with another piece of good news, as Kingmax has recently introduced a new Value product line.
Of course, these are DDR3 modules, the age of DDR2 is sacrificed. The debut of the Sandy Bridge-E and X79 did not leave Kingmax cold either, the four-channel memory controller is a heartwarming gift from Intel to RAM manufacturers, as it requires the release of packages (KITs) containing four or eight modules to take advantage of the quad-channel memory controller in the CPU, i.e. the modules should operate in four-channel mode. So the new Value series focuses primarily on the LGA2011 platform, but of course it can’t just be used with it.
Key features:
- Compatible with all DDR3 quad channel platforms
- Intel X79 PCH support
- Produced with lead-free manufacturing technology
- Chips with TinyBGA technology with various advantages: small size, faster heat dissipation, lower power consumption, high capacity, lower interference
- 100% compatibility and stability
- It is RoHs and CE certified
specifications:
- 240-pin DDR3 1333 MHz / 1600 MHz / 2000 MHz / 2200 MHz modules
- CAS-Latency: 1333 MHz: CL = 9; 1600 MHz: CL = 9; 2000 MHz: CL = 9; 2200 MHz: CL = 10
- Capacity: quad channel - 4 GB / 8 GB / 16 GB
- Operating voltage: 1,5 ~ 1,6 V
- Lifetime warranty
As you can see, Kingmax is working to meet every need with the new Value series, offering modules from 1333 MHz to 2200 MHz, all of which are compatible with Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile). Of course, the Value product name does not mean that they are poor quality modules, Kingmax guarantees full compatibility with high quality and favorable consumption values, and this statement is emphasized by a lifetime guarantee.
These Value modules are likely to be available not only in KIT but also in one-piece packaging, but since the smallest capacity module is 4 GB, we will equip our Sandy Bridge-E system with a minimum of 16 GB of system memory for quad-channel configuration. Although a specific purchase price is not yet mentioned in the source, the new Kingston Value series is likely to be on store shelves at a price so competitive that it will be an alternative to not only the LGA2011 platform but any other system.
