Transcend has introduced a memory module for server environments

Transcend came up with a Fully Buffered DIMM.

Recommended for Mac Pro and Intel Skulltrail platforms, the FB-DIMM's eight-layer printed circuit board houses 16 high-quality 70nm DDR2 DRAM chips with a total capacity of 2048MB. Transcend, of course, guarantees the lifetime of its product, the price of server memory is unknown.
