Processor cooler test - Noctua against Intel Core i5

The last page of our article will not be too long, the evaluation is easy. The ribs of the Noctua came as no surprise, just as good as we could have expected.

Hopefully no one escaped noticing that we did some little tuning on the processor, which wasn’t really that small as we were upgrading from 2,66 GHz to 4 GHz, maybe it’s not so much a sponge cake anymore.

It’s also important that we achieved this result without any serious preparation, so to speak, in the field, with the coolers found on store shelves (and we haven’t been at the limit of CPU capabilities at all yet). It is clear from the results that the load, the dissipation of the generated heat, and the transfer to the air did not cause strain on even the smallest rib. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try another tuning now, but we promise to come up with a bigger cooler article soon, and we're guaranteed to try out what tuning can be achieved with products from each manufacturer. To the best of our knowledge, we can expect serious results unless we get some untunable processor for the test.

Until this test is complete, we recommend that anyone considering purchasing an LGA1156 processor also consider Noctua coolers as possible processor cooling solutions, especially if you also want to achieve some tuning. With these ribs, if the processor allows it you will be guaranteed success!

The domestic wholesale distributor of Noctua products is Kelly-Tech Ltd.., so the ribs used for the test also came from them. Thank You!

If someone as an end user wants to buy such a rib, go to their favorite store, and if they can’t find it on the shelves then grab the ear of the dear seller to be kind to get from it, because there is no such thing as a good computer shop not to hold such gems.
