We have a NAS on the network

The storage came in a fairly large blue box, the front of which the NAS itself grins at us. By rotating the box, we get a report on all the essential capabilities, so it turns out that the device's firmware can be replaced, supports BitTorrent download, we can find a print server function, and we can also connect an external USB data storage device to it. When you open the box, you will notice that the NAS arrives disassembled. After installing the hard drive, screw on the included side panel. The list of accessories cannot be called long, an ethernet cable, a USB cable, a base and an external power supply fall into our lap.

The store has been given a fairly simple mockery, but there is also its beauty in its simplicity. We cannot complain about the choice of material. The side of the cover is matt aluminum, the bottom and top are plastic, and there is a black metal grille on the front and side fan. If you’re already on the fan, it’s worth noting that a quiet 8-centimeter air chuck does its job, thus securing the back-up storage against overheating.

There are no buttons on the front panel, only two LEDs, one at the bottom and one at the top. These are the power and hard drive activity lights. The back cover is a little more exciting, though just right. Here are the connectors. At the bottom is the wired network interface, above it the USB connectors, one for communicating with the computer and the other for connecting external devices. Above these there is a small switch with which we can switch the fan on and off. At the top are the main switch and the power plug.
