Seagate still makes most hard drives

Seagate Technology, which is deservedly popular in Hungary as well, has been advancing unbroken in recent years, so it is not a big surprise that we received the most hard drives from them in the second quarter.

Incidentally, 2005 million hard drives were shipped worldwide in the second quarter of 89,7, up 2,8 percent from three months earlier. Maxtor has slipped one third back from its previous position, mainly due to the declining popularity of their products, but an internal reorganization, so it could easily be that they will soon regain the podium again from Hitachi.
