Tested: ETS-T40 and ETD-T60, Enermax coolers on Ivy Bridge

The test of processor coolers was on our site quite a long time ago. Thinking about the reasons for this, two things came to my mind. One is that cooling processors is not nearly as cardinal a problem these days as it was a few years ago. The other is that there has been no significant change in the design of refrigerators over the years.

The two ribs that have just arrived to us do not hide any exciting novelties, they are simply new. The tubes tend to be a little different, the slats have a slightly different profile, and the package also includes a gripper for other new processors.

Needless to say, what has been described so far does not mean that these coolers are bad, as they contain all the improvements and ideas that a refrigerator manufacturer has come up with in recent years. Nickel-plated soles, tubes in direct contact with the processor cap, blade-like slats, heat-conducting tubes, so anything that makes a processor cooler good can be good.

The fact that we can’t find anything new just for me causes the tester a little trouble, as I have to write an article about them. It's okay, I'll invent myself anyway, because the ribs should be presented, the cooling performance should be measured, so I recommend that you tap into the letcho and leave the unjustified reproduction of the letters to someone else!
