Two new USB 3.0 external HDDs are coming from Verbatim
The new member of the Titan XS family has a USB 3.0 port, while the Store “n” Go has a FireWire 800 connector in addition to Super Speed USB.
The Titan XS, like its previous USB 2.0 release, has an impact-resistant rubberized cover. It has a capacity of 500 GB, a little of which is occupied by Nero BackItUp & Burn software.
Store “n” Go measures 131 × 80 × 20 mm and weighs 210 grams. The already mentioned external hard drive with USB 3.0 / FW 800 ports has a piano lacquer coating and a two-year warranty. Two versions are coming to light, one for HFS + partitions for Mac users and the other for FAT32 partitions for PC users. The latter is quite a pivotal point in the age of large-scale HD video content, so it doesn’t hurt for new owners to format it before packing it with their data.
The 500GB Titan XS SuperSpeed USB 3.0 costs $ 167, while the Store “n” Go SuperSpeed USB 3.0 / FW 800 costs $ 149.
