Another Eee PC from ASUS

The 1008HA is unlikely to stand out from the field with its low cost.

As we have seen several times recently, the Eee PC family is not necessarily synonymous with cheapness and forced compromises. This trend is further strengthened by the 1008HA, which will be one of the manufacturer's thinnest netbooks. Although the range of information about the machine can still be said to be rather sparse, it should be treated as a fact that the weight of the machine will be around 1 kilogram, and its thickness will not exceed 2,5 centimeters. The hardware will follow the classic netbook line: an Intel Atom processor, 1 GB of DDR2 memory, a 160 GB hard drive, and a 10-inch display are the main cornerstones. It should be highlighted that in addition to the usual WLAN and Bluetooth radios, this time there is also a 3G modem and WiMAX support. For the sake of novelty, ASUS also changed the classic "Eee" motto, since in the case of the 1008HA, instead of the previous "Easy to learn, Easy to work, Easy to play", we can talk about "Easy Excellent and Exciting".

The manufacturer has not yet stated the expected purchase price of the novelty.
