Giant notebook with dual LED display: Do we need it?

Alaska-based gScreen Computer has abandoned 15,4 ”laptops with dual displays, but they’re not giving up on their dreams, so they’re getting a SpaceBook 17 notebook with two 17,3” LED-backlit displays.

This provides a much larger visible environment than the originally designed 15,4 ”model. The SpaceBook 17 is powered by a 2,66 GHz Intel Core i7-620m, along with 4GB of RAM, 250 or 500GB of 7200 RPM storage, and a GeForce GTS 150M graphics card with 1GB of memory.

The gScreen also includes a DVD burner, 6 in 1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet and a 9-cell battery. Machines arriving in May will be shipped with Windows 7 Professionals.
