ASUS has expanded its U notebook series

The model, which targets the more affluent customer base, could hit store shelves in the second quarter.

Equipped with a 15,6-inch LCD display, the novelty has several interesting things: the first, and perhaps the most practical, development is the backlit keyboard, which can be of considerable service in low light conditions. An integral part of the machine is a 500 GB hard disk and a sound system from Altec Lansing's workshop; the latter allows you to play multimedia with SRS True Surround.
