Internet and e-book book mode, with two displays (with video)

Developed by 1Cross Tech, MID (mobile internet device) looks absolutely like reading a book while allowing us to browse the net and read an ebook, even at the same time.

As you can see in the picture, it has a resistive 3,2 ”touch screen on one side with a resolution of 480 × 320 pixels. On the other side is a plain 7 ″ display that can be controlled from the touch screen on the other side. The device, which is likely to arrive in the second quarter, will run Android 1.6. The machine of course includes WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G, accelerometer, webcam, and microSDHC card slot. MID can also be equipped with GPS, but only a few places will be found in it.

The idea is definitely appealing, and not a bad buy for those who travel a lot but don’t want to risk their mobile availability by surfing the net, reading, all without shoeing for $ 180.
