IRiver has introduced a digital book reader

Named simply Libre, the tool strives for simplicity in every way.

Unlike its competitors, Libre does not provide an unconcentrated amount of extra services, but does have all the capabilities needed to perform its original mission. Accordingly, in addition to the built-in memory, our e-book collection can also be read from an SD card, and displaying the PDF format is not a problem for it either. If you also listen to music while reading, or entertain yourself with an audiobook instead, you can also rely on Libre’s knowledge, as it is basically capable of playing audio stored in MP3 format.

The novelty, which can be controlled with just one joystick, will be the first to hit store shelves in Japan at a hitherto unknown purchase price.
