These days, the nerves of many shoppers have been shaken by the fact that their Core i7-920 processor purchased from NewEgg has proven to be a fake.

Of course, the dealer also conducted an internal investigation, which revealed that the processors they received from one of their suppliers were probably demo pieces. Once this fact became certain, they severed contact with the supplier and assured their customers that they would replace the purchased processors as soon as possible.

Based on the video available on the net, this is a clear forgery, as evidenced by the processor packaging. It is not very likely that a similar shipment has arrived in Hungary, but it will be good to be on the lookout.
