Inno3D P104-100, or another virtual pick

The cryptocurrency fever lasts longer, with Inno3D now looking to ride the waves with this novelty.

It soon proved that the Pascal architecture, after some fine-tuning, could be suitable for mining virtual money, and NVIDIA chips have attracted attention with their excellent energy efficiency. The designers of Inno3D have optimized the accelerator card named P104-100 to meet the needs of miners. At first glance, the card looks like a redesigned GeForce GTX 1080, with a 2560 CUDA processor instead of a GPU 1920 to reduce power consumption. Nor did the memory system remain completely intact, which has not changed, with the massive 11GB / s memory bandwidth of the GDDR5X chips ticking at the 320 GHz clock. At the size of the VRAM, however, we blocked it with a little exaggeration, as the 8GB capacity was halved - we just don't understand that.

We can't provide accurate numbers on the performance of the Inno3D P104-100 mining card, in our opinion the accelerator is capable of producing the GeForce GTX 180 despite the 1080 watt TDP, so it can be viable at a fair price. However, it is worth considering that it omits video outputs - this is a common practice - so its scope is clearly limited, and it will be difficult to overcome it after the cryptocurrencies have depreciated.
