ASUS GeForce 9600 GT: there's something new in the day!

The only question is: do we need these kinds of "novelties"?

We begin this writing in an unusual way with a historical look back. As is known, NVIDIA in February this year, quite accurately second month on the 21st he yanked it off the cover’s mid-range graphics controller, the GeForce 9600 GT. This was followed by a series of different models that were made unique by each manufacturer in some way. Of course, ASUS has also exposed itself, and we've reported on several of these 9600 GTs in the columns on our site:

At ASUS, however, they didn't stop at that much, they added another 9600 GT to their already ample offer. We may rightly ask what made the EN9600GT MG/HTDP/512MD2 (MAGIC) special, since ASUS pulled out almost all the stops for the above-mentioned models: special cooling, overclocking, special design, etc. The cooling of the "magical" 9600 GT Glaciator can be deceiving, since the clock signal of the GPU remains unchanged (625 MHz), and there is no mention of OC. Our readers, who are familiar with the ASUS naming systems, can already guess the ugliness: DDR2 memory chips with an effective clock signal of 800 MHz have been placed on the blue printed circuit board of the graphics controller. Cheers!

ASUS GeForce 9600 GT is new in the day!
