Encouraged by the success of the EDGE-HD2, the manufacturer made an upgrade that gave the slim and lightweight MINI PC an even stronger interior.

The Sapphire EDGE-HD3 Mini PC arrives in FebruaryThe Edge-HD3 outperforms its predecessor by several points, making it an even more attractive alternative.

Sapphire has replaced the dual-core Intel Atom D525 processor with the most powerful Brazos chip. The AMD E450 APU includes two 1,65 GHz Bobcat cores and an integrated Radeon HD 6320 graphics controller. The DirectX 11 GPU supports all vendor-independent (DirectCompute 5.0, OpenGL 4.1, OpenCL 1.1, OpenGL ES 2.0) APIs, and the UVD 3.0 engine handles H.264 / AVC, MPEG-2/4, VC 1 and DivX / Xvid videos. You can't complain about the other parameters of the trifle: 320 GB SATA hard drive, 4 GB DDR3 memory, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet and audio output, two USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi module. The Sapphire EDGE-HD3 Mini PC consumes 30 watts.

There have been no substantive changes to the exterior, but that’s not really a problem, as few buyers were likely to object to the predecessor’s tasteful, solid house (193 × 148 × 22 mm).

Delivery of the product can start in the first days of February, the expected price is $ 300.
