Corsair's HX series power supplies have earned 80 PLUS Gold certification for their efficiency.

The 80 PLUS Gold rating is given to power supplies that operate at efficiencies above 20% at 100 and 87% load and above 50% at 90% load. The Corsair HX750W produced 88,04, 87,04 and 90,02 efficiencies during the test, and the Corsair HX850W produced 89,14, 87,06 and 90,38% efficiencies, so both PSUs met the 80 PLUS Gold rating. requirements.
