Epic Gear Jellyfish and Hybrid Pad if you don't take care of it!

Nowadays, it’s really hard to find an innovation in mice that’s easy and worth writing about because it’s so new and revolutionary that it also moves the article writer’s imagination. This is not about the quality of the mice, as a mouse intended for gamers usually has outstanding abilities.

Epic Gear Jellyfish, on the other hand, carries HDST technology there, which really sets it apart from similar products. As I wrote somewhere at the beginning of the article, this is certainly two or even three mice in one enclosure.
There is a feature of Medusa that I haven’t talked about so far, and that is setting the lift-off distance. What is it about? Anno, when ball mice were replaced by optical solutions I had a hard time getting used to it. With the ball mouse, it was clear that if it touched the table, the ball would move, the mouse pointer would move, but if I pick it up, the movement would stop. This was not the case for optical rodents. Even though I lifted them up, they were still “working” to a certain height and it was very confusing while playing. By adjusting the lift-off distance in the case of the Medusa, we can adjust the height of the sensing when lifted from the table. We have a ten-point scale for this, where one means very close, ten from far away.

So Jellyfish and Hybrid Pad are very good products, they can be said to represent another peak in the evolution of current mice, especially together. I don't really know where the quality of perception and movement could be improved. I just miss one thing, which is feeling when I lifted the ball mouse off the table after a wide, sweeping move, and in that the ball still had a little way to go, so turns were much less square because the character had been turning in the game until then, until I could reposition the mouse. True, with a high DPI value, mice no longer need to be lifted if I want to do a full turn, but fast movement from a high value also results in more inaccurate targeting.

So for me, the two opening products of Epic Gear were really convincing, I wonder if they will be able to draw another card for this performance to see if they can repeat in us testers what they did with Medusa. I wish them success!
Epic Gear products are available at Blue chip provided for the test, thank you very much for it, I really enjoyed every minute of the test!
