First we get a router called the BR-6524N. This device has already been with us, though it looked a little different, and it also came with a USB interface. Since we don't like repetition, we recommend reading the following article: Introduction to Edimax wireless routers - updated offer

Nor do we want to go into great detail, because this article is intended to highlight the benefits of the n standard, so we look at Edimax products from that perspective.

As we have already written, the notation nMAX means Draft 2.0, but at the same time it means compliance with the n standard at Edimax. This device already provides us with all the terrestrial benefits that the “new” finalized standard can provide, resulting in greater distance between devices, more stable connectivity and transmission bandwidth. If we browse the box, it will appear that we get an extra option compared to the router marked nLITE, which looks like this: 2T3R MIMO. This technology, called MIMO (multiple input, multiple output), can essentially be interpreted as an extension of the 802.11 standard when it comes to the 802.11n standard, and it covers the multi-antenna system. This is the system by which n standard devices take advantage of both the reflected signals and the increased transmission bandwidth. The range could theoretically be up to four times that of ag standard devices. The increase in bandwidth is caused by multiple antennas transmitting and receiving at the same time.

The fourth and last device that we have to mention in the name of the new n technology is also not our first time. We have already described the desirable properties of wedge fabric in our previous article, so as before, we can only recommend that you visit this article: Introduction to Edimax wireless routers - updated offer

The structure called BR-6574N is the larger brother of BR-6524N mentioned earlier. In terms of capabilities, it is almost identical to it except for one important moment, and that is the speed of the wired network. The 6574N's LAN ports are already gigabit, providing the highest bandwidth currently available at home, both wired and wireless.
