Thanks to the Bluetooth A2DP protocol, the device, which can be charged using the mini-USB socket, can be used with almost all modern mobile phones available today, and it can also be an ideal companion for portable players with "blue tooth". Being a Sony product, the designers once again paid special attention to outstanding sound quality and rich functionality. For the sake of the former, a 40-millimeter neodymium magnet was installed, while the latter endeavor is manifested this time in the possibility of hands-free operation of the connected mobile phone. Of course, this also required the integration of a microphone, which Sony also equipped with advanced echo filtering for high-quality sound transmission.

The BT101, which is also suitable for basic remote control of connected devices, may be available on store shelves later this year, but its purchase price has not been announced by the manufacturer yet.
