Sony has introduced another iPod accessory

Sony seems to be focusing on the biggest competitor rather than its Walkman product line.

We recently reported the arrival of an iPod dock, but Sony Insider reported that another similar product is coming up from the Japanese manufacturer. The CMT-LX30iR is trying to get customers at the entry level, so its capabilities don’t always reach its big brother’s knowledge. The first, and perhaps the biggest, loss is embodied in the maximum volume available: the novelty speakers have a power output of only 2 × 5 watts, which in our view completely calls into question the device’s viability. The display has similarly subdued features that can only display a single line, though it does so with a nice blue backlight. It's a shame for the trimmed features, as there would be no shame about the other features: the slot-in mechanical optical drive, USB device support, FM / AM radio receiver, pre-programmed EQ schemes, and standard headphone output all match the age expectations. A trump card could also be a function to save our music from a CD to a USB key at the touch of a button, which presumably encodes the audio stored on the disc in MP3 format.

Sony has come up with a better iPod accessory

The novelty, which also includes a remote control, will be available for approximately $ 200, which, considering the current exchange rate and the device's knowledge base, cannot be said to be a fair offer.
