Since June 2007, Albacomp Zrt. In Székesfehérvár has been the exclusive Hungarian distributor of Getac devices, which are well known in industrial use.

High-stress devices in manufacturing, trade, construction, public safety, rescue units or even military use have only been present on the domestic market for a few years, but hundreds of machines have already found owners. According to statistics, 75% of notebook failures are caused by dropping the device, spilled liquid, dropped objects, or extreme ambient temperatures, so using notebooks in many places can be a solution for high-reliability tasks.

Albacomp plans to sell 200 handsets of Getac’s previously fragmented sales and marketing business in one hand over the next 12 months. In addition to special devices, Albacomp Zrt., With a turnover of HUF 16,6 billion, sold nearly 2006 traditional desktop computers and 25 notebooks on the domestic market in 000.

Getac notebooks and tablet PCs are “hardcover” and can withstand the effects of dust, dirt, moisture, movement, vibration, cold, heat in outdoor and industrial environments, which means adverse conditions that make the stable operation of computers difficult. The devices are also resistant to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, as well as to environments with high particulate pollution, so they can operate reliably even in the most extreme conditions. In Hungary, Getac devices are used, for example, in cave baths at 100% humidity, to test the vibration state of machines in oily and dusty environments (according to IP54 terminology), to test and calibrate airport meteorological systems, to measure water flow in wet environments and many other stressful environments.
