Memory prices are falling

Prices have fallen 8% in a week and as manufacturers believe this situation will not change for a while, they have started launching the remaining stocks in stock. There are manufacturers who return to high-volume production of DDR2 because they only produce losses on the DDR3 line. The line also includes Elpida, which says another 30% drop in prices is expected.

In Europe, a 2 × 2 GB DDR3-1333 memory set can be purchased for as little as € 48. Considering the possibility of further price reductions, it is definitely worth investing in even a larger amount of RAM.
