Among the first to get Oreo is the Xiaomi TV Box
The beta version is already with the testers, so we can start cutting the cent.
Not many manufacturers can say that their TV Box will receive the latest version of Android, so Xiaomi's product may become more and more popular not only because of its otherwise great capabilities. It’s not as if you need it to be popular, as you’ve got the powerful hardware you can even play on, it can play 4K streams, plus it can be controlled by voice via a Bluetooth remote control.
For now, the beta version of Oreo has only reached testers, those who signed up for the beta tester program last year. Because of this, the average user still has to wait a bit. That’s not a problem either, as the beta is rumored to be still very buggy, with one of the first testers reporting a sound bug in wireless control. There’s no information yet on what’s new with Oreo, but knowing Xiaomi won’t let anyone down!
