Xiaomi closed its only store

The move is not in line with Xiaomi’s offline plans at first hearing.

Xiaomi closed its only store

The reasons have not been revealed so far, but a fact is that the company has closed its only store in England. To be quite accurate, this deal was the only one not only in England but in the whole of the UK.

The company has thousands of stores worldwide, so no one was surprised when a store opened in November 2018 at the Westfield shopping center in London, England. This store is now closed and there is no particular explanation for the move. According to surveys, since the first official Spanish store opened in 2017, Xiaomi has gone big in Europe. According to the news, the third quarter of 2019 brought in a 73 percent increase over the same period last year and is now the fourth among mobile manufacturers on our continent.

The London store's Twitter page is no longer available, just this short announcement about closing the store can be found online:

Our adaptation to our local retail strategy is a response to the company’s rapid growth in Western Europe. Since he officially arrived in the UK more than a year ago, we have always loved building relationships with our users, Mi Fans and our partners, and we thank them for their support. UK users and Mi Fans may continue to purchase Xiaomi products through our official website, mi.com/uk and other official channels, and these products will be announced at future product launch events.
