A-DATA would buy Apacer shares
Acer would divest itself of shares in Apacer.
If the deal is closed, A-DATA would acquire about 30% of the shares in Apacer, which can be considered rivals - specializing in the production of memory modules, memory cards, readers, flash drives, music players and other flash memory accessories.
Mr. Shimon Chen, CEO of A-DATA, said his company was really interested in the deal, however, negotiations have only just begun, so he refuses to reveal further details yet.
