Three-channel Apogee GT memory kits have been announced by Walton Chaintech

Walton Chaintech has come up with high-performance memory kits specifically for the Intel Core i7-Intel X58 pair.

By definition, the "Intel Core i7-compatible" sets hide DDR3 modules, also three of them, in 3 or 6 GB packages. Walton Chaintech determined the speed of the memories at 1600, 1866 or 2000 MHz per package. PC3-12800 modules have 7-7-7-18 timing and 1,7 V operating voltage, PC3-14400 modules have 8-8-8-24 and 1,8 V values, while those of the PC3-16000 are 9-9-9-27 and 1,9 V. The memory chips are mounted on an eight-layer PCB, and their cooling is ensured by the well-known aluminum fin from Apogee GTs.
