ATITool: Another test release has been released

ATITool, which specializes in overclocking video cards, has been updated again.

Despite the name ATITool, it can be used not only for Radeon but also for GeForce video cards. Like other tuning software, the graphics processor and memory clock can be adjusted with a slider, you can create profiles, find the recommended maximum operating frequencies, and even have a very simple testing option to keep an eye on the performance increase.

Changes from previous version (0.27 beta 2):

  • full support for Windows Vista and Windows XP x64
  • ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit):
    • ATI RV6xx support
    • 20 older and newer ATI ASIC support
  • fixed: vertex / pixel / merged shading detection
  • more detailed clock adjustment
  • For some G8x-based video cards, some non-WHQL-certified drivers are not supported
  • does not include changes to R600 VGAs
  • Radeon X1950s may have frozen the previous release
  • other minor improvements
