The six-core line is amplified by AMD

The AMD FX processor family currently consists of two eight-core (FX-8150, FX-8120), one six-core (FX-6100) and one quad-core (FX-4100) models, but this situation may change later in the month.

The AMD FX-26 processor could start on December 6200, a huge leap in performance on the six-core line. The novelty offers an operating frequency 500 MHz higher than the FX-6100. The 3,8 GHz clock, which also commands prestige from the base, can be raised to 4,1 GHz via Turbo Core. No architectural changes were made, so the processor was given 6 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3 cache. Unfortunately, we also have to report a not very gratifying change: the increase in power was achieved by the engineers by raising the TDP, which is already 125 watts.

The AMD FX-6200 processor is expected to hit store shelves at a price tag of $ 175.
